Who we are

VidaPath ("we") runs the game at vidapath.cloud and in the VidaPath apps for iPhone and Android. You can reach us at hello@vidapath.cloud.

A game, not advice

VidaPath is a game for learning and entertainment. Prices, returns, careers, cities and events in it are simplified or made up. Nothing in it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Before you make real decisions about money, talk to a qualified professional.

Your account

You can play without an account. If you create one, use an email address you own and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

You need to be at least 16 to create an account, or have a parent's or guardian's agreement.

Fair play

Please do not cheat, or use bots or scripts to gain scores or leaderboard places.

Do not attack, overload or try to break into the service, or into other players' accounts.

Do not use a name or profile picture that is offensive, misleading or belongs to someone else.

Do not use the game for anything illegal.

When we can limit or close an account

If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may remove your scores, hide you from the leaderboard, or close your account. We will tell you first and give you a chance to respond, unless we must act at once, for example to stop an attack.

You can delete your account yourself at any time, in Profile.

Virtual items

Coins, XP, badges, streaks, leagues and every other item in the game exist only in the game. They have no real money value, you cannot sell them or exchange them for money, and they end when your account is deleted.

Paid features

VidaPath is free to play. If we offer paid features, you will see the price and what you get before you pay. Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps are made through Apple or Google, under their terms.

As a consumer in the EU you can normally withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content delivered right away, that right ends once delivery starts, but only if you asked for immediate delivery and confirmed that you lose the right. Your legal rights if paid content does not work as promised always stay.

Our content

The game, its texts, pictures and Zeno the tortoise belong to us. You are welcome to play, and to share screenshots and your results. Please do not copy, resell or republish the game or its content.

Availability and changes to the game

We work hard to keep VidaPath running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features. We will tell you in advance about changes that matter, and if we ever close the game.

Liability

We are not responsible for decisions you make in real life based on the game.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We will tell you in the game at least 30 days before new terms take effect. If you do not agree with them, you can delete your account before then.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can go to the courts there.

If we cannot settle a consumer dispute together, you can turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz), which handles out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes.
